my nift gen rank 1774 , can i get admission in fashion communication in any top 5 nift college??

Hello student cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. It's difficult to get admission in top 5 nift campus as the number of seats are very limited (598).

How many students have shortlisted for situation test in nift 2020?

This year due to corona pandemic the admission process has been changed for NIFT 2020 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The situation test is cancelled and the final results will be given based on marks scored by the candidate in written test (CAT/GAT) for B.Des. nift bftech results has overall rank 753 and general merit 535.what is the difference it makes

CMR or Common Merit Rank is your rank in Common Rank List. This list consists of all category students. And General rank is your category rank. Now you belong to general category. If someone belongs to SC category then his/her category rank would be SC rank. Both the ranks are equally important. Based on your rank and previous year's data, you can expect NIFT Patna, Bhubaneswar, Kangra. However, the cutoffs change every year and this is based on previous years' analysis.

Is it possible to get admissions in NIFT as per the result of class 12th board exam?

Hello,

No, you can get admission in any of NIFT campuses only through entrance exam. You need to appear in NIFT entrance exam and score minimum qualifying marks to be eligible to participate in counselling. You must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board for apparel designing you must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. You cannot get admission based on 10+2 marks.

with a cmr of 630 and category st rank of 8, can i get into nift mumbai(bftech) ?

In 2019 no candidate belonging to ST category taken admission in NIFT, Mumbai in Bachelor's of Fashion Technology. But in 2018 a candidate with 1936 rank belonging to ST category secured seat in NIFT, Mumbai BFT. And you have decent category rank so with this there are decent chances of getting seat in NIFT, Mumbai iN BFT. But cut off in 2020 may increase or decrease depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam etc,

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.

College Infrastructure

Overall infrastructure is good, has a library, a resource center. One can get a good resource that is not available outside the campus, for examples books and magazines that are not available outside at any bookstore
