No, it won't be much tough if you have knowledge about fashion designing. If your previous educational studies were all about the fashion technology then you won't find it much difficulty, with a 3 to 4 months of preparation, you can pass it out. No need to be confused. You have started studying which means it's worth giving a try. If you can apply for NIFT then do apply. Take out time for practice for  NIFT. If you are sincerely not interested then you will get easily bored and it will happen very soon.
As you have already prepared and preparing for NEET , keep it main track and keep NIFT as side track. More focus and effort should be given to main focus and try for NIFT.
On the part of deciding career , yes it's difficult but nothing to worry about. When you take one then you learn to take it with full responsibility as you have to make career in it.
Don't worry and just give a try for NIFT and give your best efforts in NEET.

National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), Patna does not offer BA Economics(Hons.) course without or with math. This college only offers design and fashion courses. The courses offered by NIFT Patna are:-

Lateral entry requires a diploma in that particular field. They release forms for lateral entry and then you need to apply for that. On the basis of marks and merit you will be selected and can get your entry in nift.

Both institutes are very much different from each other.
National Institute of Design is a Design institute offering B.Des and M.Des course.
National Institute of Fashion Technology is a fashion design and Management Institute offering B.Des, BF Tech, M.Des, MFTech courses.
NID specialises the student in design only shile NIFT is mostly dedicated to fashion world. NID has limited number of seats while number of seats in NIFT is large as it has 15 campuses across India.

So, which one is 'best' comes down to your liking and preferences. If you aim to make a career in design go for NID. Or if fashion is your thing go for NIFT.

NIFT 2020 situation test dates have not been released yet , I advise you too keep in touch with our website , you will get the dates from there , whenever they are released by the authorities.
