NEF College of Pharmacy, Guwahati, established in 2019 under the National Education Foundation Trust, is affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as well as the Health & Family Welfare Department of Assam. At the heart of these is a spacious, well-furnished library housing over 3,000 books on pharmaceutical and allied subjects. The library of NEF College of Pharmacy offers a book bank facility, 10 journals/periodicals, and 9 daily newspapers in various languages, along with internet access, and is open from Monday to Saturday. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, making classroom learning modern and interactive. Laboratories are kept well-equipped for practical training, also, especially for Pharmaceutics, which is a core subject in the pharmacy curriculum. These labs are equipped with all the quality instruments required to carry out practicals as demanded by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the university syllabus.
NEF College of Pharmacy conducts two full-time courses at present. B. Pharma has 100 seats, and D.Pharma has 60 seats. The B.Pharma course is for four years, while the D.Pharma is a two-year course.
