Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in English is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the  Sidho Kanho Birsha University, Purulia.


Eligibility Criteria

  • A Student must have passed at least in five subjects with English and Environmental students as compulsory subjects in the H.S (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by the Board/University.
  • Candidates applying for Honours Course require 55% of marks in the aggregate or 50% marks in the aggregate with 60% marks in the subject applying for Honours at the H.S or equivalent examination.
  • For S.C/S.T candidates, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 45% in the aggregate with 50 % in the Honours subject.
