NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Kamrup (NIPS) is an established education house institute in 2017. It is an affiliated college of its type, based at Santipur, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam that has pharmacy training as its pursuit. After all, NIPS has also gained the badge of quality education as it has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Pharmacy Council of India. The institute teaches two specialised pharmacy courses with a total student enrolment of 264. NIPS boasts a faculty strength of 23 highly professional and maintains an apt student-to-faculty ratio that ensures personal attention for every student with quality education.
There are a range of modern facilities adequately equipping NIPS to support students' academic as well as personal progress. NIPS provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls on campus, offering electricity, water supply, and security personnel 24 hours a day.
The institute provides two full-time courses in pharmacy. First, it offers a 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharma. This programme is offered to the students for 4 years of study within the B.Pharma degree. For both courses, the intake capacity is 60 students, meaning 60 seats to be offered in each course.

Admission into the D.Pharma program is based on merit considering the candidate's performance in the 10+2 or equivalent examination wherein Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are core subjects.
B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy):
The institute also offers a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy course with an intake of 60 students. The admission process for B.Pharma is competitive and based on academic merit, as assessed through the 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Both programs are formulated to achieve comprehensive knowledge and practical skills transfer in the pharmacy discipline. The institute has well-equipped laboratories covering 25,000 square feet where students gain various practical experiences in pharmaceutical sciences.
