NIMS College of Nursing Neyyattinkara: This college is situated Trivandrum, Kerala and follows the affiliation system established in the year 2009. This is a prestigious College on Indian Nursing Council (INC) that was established in multi acre of land to offer different nursing courses. NIMS College of Nursing is a small institution with a total student enrolment of 235 and 18 faculty members which make the college more capable to provide personal attention to the students. The college has four full-time courses I undergraduate as well as postgraduate where the college provides various specialisation in the nursing filed.
The college has set up a number of facilities with an intention of improving academic and personal achievements of its students. A central library is well endowed which has more than 2500 books and 15 journals available to enrich the students and their curricular needs. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Nursing: B.Sc Nursing is the primary undergraduate course of NIMS College of Nursing. It has a sanctioned intake of 90 students. Admission to B.Sc Nursing is based on the 50-50 seat allocation of LBS and PNCMAK. 10+2 with science as subjects is mandatory for candidates to appear for this course.
M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing: This postgraduate program is sanctioned to have an intake of 6 students. The admission process is the same in the ratio of 50-50 seat allocation between LBS and PNCMAK. The candidate must be a B.Sc Nursing graduate to be eligible for this specialization.
M.Sc Paediatric Nursing: Since the approved intake for this special postgraduate programme is 2 students, it also follows the 50-50 seat allocation process for admissions. Candidates with a B.Sc Nursing qualification are eligible to apply for this programme.
M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing: The postgraduate program also has an approved student intake of 2 students. The admission process remains the same 50-50 seat allocation between LBS and PNCMAK. For this specialization, a B.Sc Nursing degree is necessary.
