The college since is established on 52 acres of land and has total enrolment capacity of year 2011 – 857 students, total faculty – 33. NSS Polytechnic College is offering five fulltime diploma courses, each of three year duration for Civil, Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical Engineering.
It is the policy of the NSS Polytechnic College to give students a good learning environment and functional facilities. The library which is an important component of every academic, contains about 25000 books and about 1000 CDs with technical specialisations. It is completely desk Complaint and uses Open source Digital library software (D Space) for effective management of the system. It also has functional computer laboratories which are crucial in the skills based learning system in the current society. For the physically challenged students, the college provides different section of hostels for male and female students. An on-campus health center has been laid down to ensure that health needs of members of the community are meet with priorities on first aid provisions. The college also includes the cafeteria providing the necessary foods for the staff and students, an auditorium for holding various meetings and seminars included.
