Om College of Education, Behror. It is a co-ed educational institution affiliated with NCTE approved. The institute follows the teacher education program to prepare skilled educators for future needs. The admissions carried at Om College of Education are aimed at choosing capable candidates who are dedicated to the teaching profession. The college mainly provides two courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The admission process for B.Ed is carried out through the Pre-Teacher Education Test, which is conducted by Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. This will help standardize and fair selection for those who want to become teachers throughout the state. The admission procedure of the D.El.Ed program depends on the policy of the state government or UT administration. Candidates are selected based on merit in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as deemed necessary by the state government or UT administration. Application Process

B.Ed Program:

• Online Registration for PTET conducted by MDS University, Ajmer
• PTET Exam appearance on a specified date.
• Elementary Education Diploma in Elementary Education After declaration of the results, eligible candidates are accepted in Om College of Education through centralized admission process.
• All documents like educational certificates, PTET Score card, and other related certificates submitted as per requirement of the institute
• Counseling process if the candidate gets selected and completes all admission formalities as guided by the college.

D.El.Ed Programme:

• Look out for application notices in the official website of Om College of Education or state education department.
• Fill up the application form for D.El.Ed program and fill up all details.
• Submit the duly filled up application form with necessary documents like mark sheets of qualifying examinations, domicile certificate, etc.
• If entrance exam is a constituent of the screening procedure, then appear for the exam scheduled on the announced date.
• Merit List will be prepared basing on the marks in the qualifying examination and/or scores in the entrance exam.
• Those names in the list get called up for document verification and the admission procedure.

Degree wise Admission Process

Om College of Education, Behror, Rajasthan conducts admission in a planned process for the B.Ed program. Admission to the B.Ed program will be through Pre-Teacher Education Test conducted by MDS University, Ajmer. Candidate selection is strictly based on performance in the entrance exam. The total intake for the B.Ed program as sanctioned by the government is 100 seats, hence it's a competitive course for those who will join the campus as teachers.

D.El.Ed: The admission procedure into Om College of Education is not the same as all other diploma courses. Instead, the Om College of Education provides a choice of candidates in the D.El.Ed program basis on merit according to the marks secured in the qualifying examination. In addition, an entrance examination may be conducted by the state government or UT administration to select and finalize the suitable candidates. This ensures the selection of most suitable candidates for the program.
