Pakuahat Teachers Education College, Pakuahat Admission Process

Pakuahat Teacher Education College provides co-educational institution for teacher education in Pakuahat, West Bengal. Admission in this college is done according to the merit quota by the norms established by the state government of West Bengal and affiliated university. The whole admission system is designed to select the best candidates taking in teacher training programs. The entire admission system is made for the selection of the best among them to take into teacher training programs.

Two primary courses can be undertaken in the college, those being Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), both taking two years on a full-time basis.  Particularly for seeking admission into Pakuahat Teachers Education College, a candidate has to qualify through qualifying examinations, entrance tests, or any other selection processes prescribed by the state government or UT administration. Merit list generated by the college on the basis of these exam marks will be used to shortlist students getting admission.

Application Process

This would include the following process with respect to admission to Pakuahat Teachers Education College by the applicant:

1. Announcement of Admissions: By such advertisements on its official website and in other newspapers/media, the college announces the commencement of admissions into several courses.

2. Application Form: Candidates are supposed to obtain and fill the application form. Method of distribution of forms cannot be indicated exactly, but most probably it's through the college website or at the college campus.

6. Counselling and Seat Allocation: The shortlisted candidates may then proceed to be called for counseling sessions in which the merit and availability shall determine seat allotment.

7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates would be required to pay the prescribed fee for the respective courses for confirmation of their admission.

8. Document Verification: The college will carry out thorough document verification on admission day for the candidate.

Admission Process as per Degree

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): As regards this course, admissions into Pakuahat Teachers Education College would cater for 100 students, and selections for this course are purely dependent on the merit of marks attained at the qualifying examination and marks obtained at the entrance examination. This will also follow the selection process as formulated by the rules which govern the state government, West Bengal, and the respective university. Candidates must meet all the eligibility criteria prescribed for B.Ed programs by NCTE.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed course has made provision for admitting 50 students into Pakuahat Teachers Education College. The admission procedure is similar to that of B.Ed. Admission will solely be based on merit obtained on account of marks secured in both qualifying and/or entrance examinations. Selection process would follow policy laid down by state government or UT administration. Candidates will have to meet the eligibility requirements as defined for D.El.Ed programs by the concerned educational authorities.
