Panakkad Mohamedali Shihab Thangal Arts and Science College is a young college in the Malappuram District of Kerala, which has started the journey of character building from the academic year 2015-2016. This affiliated college is residential and comprises a small area of 5.2 acre, it provides various courses of study and has 537 students enrolled in it. There are 31 members in the faculty we are fully equipped with dedicated educators to facilitate a focused student-teacher ratio for collegiate standards. Today the institution teaches 8 courses in 6 degree programs cutting across field of arts and sciences.
Some of the resources that has been put in place to improve the learning ability of the students of the college include the following. The focal of these privileges is the college library where students get an access to over 3000 books both textbooks and references. The library also has 15 journals and periodicals subscriptions for various subjects of concern for the society. Through the Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) students are able to access both print and electronic materials expanding their research horizons. In order to support interactive techniques, the college has department-based laboratories for structural practical experience. The campus is equally equipped with facilities for sports and an auditorium meaning that great emphasis is given to the all round education for the students.
