Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy Diploma, Pravaranagar is one of the developing institutions of pharmaceutical education started in 1981. This affiliated college is situated in Loni Bk, Ahmednagar district – Maharashtra Being a pharmacy college, it has received certifications from AICTE and PCI. Located in a small plot of 2.17 acres of land, the college provides adequate area for the students to concentrate on their course, in this case being an education on pharmacology, to become pharmacists. It is a small institute with a strength of 120 students and has six permanent faculties for its diploma holder’s programme which gives personal attention to each of its students as well as has better standards of education. 

Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy has put up a number of facilities in order to provide the needed boost to its students’ learning experience. BSNL provides the internet connectivity to the campus through fast Wi-Fi connectively with the range of 20 MBPS. For those who need mostly accommodation, a different and separate hostel area is provided for the boys and girls. Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy Diploma has an aim of providing qualitative Pharmacy education through Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme. This is a full time course spread over two academic years with a proposed admission capacity of 60 students per year. By targeting, the necessity, the benefit, the niche and, the expected outcome, it is found that the programme aims at offering support education to students thus ensuring that they will be suitable for employment in the pharmaceutical sciences industry. 

The entries to Diploma course in Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy follow the centralised process with the approval of Director of Technical Education DTE, Mumbai. To get admission in the D.Pharma programme a student has to go through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). In general, the college releases its admission details in June or July every year on the DTE website.
