Priyadarshni Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guntur, established in the year 2005, has become a guiding light in the region for pharmaceutical education. The college is located at 5th Mile, Pulladigunta in Guntur over an area of 2.5 acres, housing diverse group of curious minds. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) gives its permission to carry out many pharmaceutical programmes in that institute. With an enrolment of 505 students and faculty strength of 44, the very favourable student-teacher ratio is assured. The B.Pharma at PIPER is a four-year undergraduate course with an approved intake of 100 students. The admission to this course is based on the performance of the candidate in the relevant state-level or national level entrance examinations conducted for pharmacy. The eligibility criteria state that he/she should have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
M.Pharm programmes are offered by PIPER through 2 specialisations, M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis and M.Pharma Pharmaceutics. The admission to these programmes is done mainly based on GPAT or AP PGECET. Candidates must have a B.Pharm degree from a recognised university to be eligible.
