PSG College of Education, Sankari – The College was started in 2006 as a teacher training institution situated in Salem District of Tamil Nadu. This co-educational institute was established and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated on a sprawling 3-acre campus, the college offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed, with a total number of intake capacity of 150. PSG College of Education has sixteen dedicated faculty members which teach education to 134 enrolled students to maintain a good student to faculty ratio.
PSG College of Education have well equipped and well developed faculty considering the fact that they only exist with aim of improving the learning and development of students. The library is a base of academic materials; the collection comprises more than 3700 selected books and essential journals that offer an extensive collection of knowledge to future educators. Candidates qualifying for eligibility to join the D.El.Ed are those that have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2) or the equivalent examination.
