Pujitha College of Education Narasaraopet, a co-ed institution for quality teacher education programs, is committed to cultivating excellent teaching and training facilities coupled with a focused curriculum for aspiring teachers. Under this college, two major programs which the students can pursue are Bachelor's in Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Admission to both programs is based on merit determined by the percentage of marks scored in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. These admissions are as per the policies of the Andhra Pradesh government and that of the affiliated university.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the programs of Pujitha College of Education are in accordance with NCTE norms and regulations of the state government. For the B.Ed., graduation in any stream from a recognized university is required. For D.El.Ed., successful completion of the 10+2 examination or its equivalent is mandatory.

Application Process

The application process for admission to Pujitha College of Education, Narasaraopet, includes the following steps:

1. Notification: The admission notification is released by the college on official channels regarding the start of the application process.

2. Application Form: Application forms can be collected from the college office.

3. Filling up of Forms: Fill application forms very carefully with valid personal information and academic records.

4. Document Submission: The permission slip/application form must be submitted, along with the following documentation:

   • Passport-sized photographs

   • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (Graduation for B.Ed/D.Ed for D.El.Ed)

A two-year regular program, with intake of 50 seats. Admission to the program is strictly on merit, based on qualifying examination and/or entrance examination marks. At the time of admission, the candidate must be in possession of a degree in any discipline.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):

A regular two-year diploma program with intake of 100 seats. Admission to the program is strictly on merit based on qualifying examination (10+2) and/or entrance examination marks.
