For extra curriculum activities and functions, the college provides an auditorium, sports fields and health facility with a first aid kits to support the colleges development programs of students.

The courses offered by Radhakrishnan Teachers Training College are all specialised in the teacher education programmes which are full time courses. The institute provides three main courses, B.Ed, BA B.Ed, and B.Sc B.Ed. The B.Ed programme remains a two-year course while the BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed are combined four year courses.

Radhakrishnan Teachers Training College is committed to the admission process which is fair and based on merit only. For the B.Ed programme, admissions are given on merit of the marks in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance test. Any other selection process as per policy of the state government/Union Territory administration and the affiliated university is also taken into consideration by the college.
