Classrooms are minimal with chalk and board setups in some classes and are not digital. The canteen is very tiny and gives a limited number of food options at affordable prices. The college has basic sports facilities but does not have any large dedicated playgrounds like private colleges.
The syllabus is according to the CCS University guidelines and the university conducts the exams. Passing an exam depends on how well the student prepares, as exams can be moderate to difficult. The pressure of academics is not very high compared to private colleges
There are no placements directly available for B.Sc students. The main focus of the college is on academics and completing the degree. After finishing their graduation, students mostly opt for higher studies like M.Sc, B.Ed, or prepare for competitive exams.
The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms are spacious but could be better maintained. Laboratory facilities are functional, though equipment may not always be the latest. There is a library, but the collection of books is limited for science students.
The academic environment at Raghunath Girls Inter College is focused and disciplined. The B.Sc. program offers decent exposure to subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Most of the teachers are experienced and cooperative. They explain concepts well, though at times the teaching style can be a bit old-fashioned
Placements are not the main focus here, especially for science courses. Most students prefer to pursue higher studies or prepare for competitive exams like B.Ed., M.Sc., or government jobs. The college doesn't offer much in terms of career counseling or industry exposure.
Infrastructure is up to the mark, with less number of proper facilities like classrooms, a library with proper books, and labs. Equipment in the labs is outdated and requires upgrade to industrial standards. The campus is not congested but tidy, but Wi-Fi facilities and digital content are not abundant in number.
The faculty of teaching is highly educated and helpful, particularly in central science subjects such as botany, zoology, and chemistry. The faculty is traditional in the way they teach with less emphasis on practical experience and industrial uses. The semester exams are not so difficult if the students attend classes regularly, but practical training can be enhanced to enable the students to learn better skills for professional practice in the future.
Placements of B.Sc. ZBC students at RGPG College Meerut, are not the rule. The college does not actively arrange placement for B.Sc. students, and students must look for it themselves. Off-campus placement, further studies, or government examinations are the major alternatives after passing out. A few students secure internships in research institutions or pharmaceutical industries, but the college does not facilitate such placements.
Whether the college provides hostel facility, I do not know as I never searched for a room. Infrastructure of the college is comparatively well, but some improvements can be made in the labs because most of its equipment is very old. Classrooms are comparatively good and comfortable.
My faculty in our department was really good. They were supportive in many ways and really knew how to motivate students about their future. Professors for each subject were more than one, and they were exceptional in their teaching methods, which made learning interesting and successful.
Honestly, it is a government college, and placements are not offered here. Placement was not provided to me neither to anyone as I can think of because there is no separate placement cell. There must be a Bcom department, so they will offer placement, but for other departments, it is unclear.
Definitely it was government college it charges less amount for fees.
Excellent campus life.
Yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment and they have big classrooms , big play ground and big library and laboratories and they are well maintained. They all are in used.
I am studying ba and The curriculum is up to dated with latest technology and provides placement assistance to make student job ready . It has great teachers and every teacher is very humble and helpful.
The placements are good only , a lot of renowned mncs , big three come for placements. Summers can be a little tough but almost everyone gets placed eventually. So if u have decent acads and good cv , you will get placed decently but then it's upto u to make the best out of it and sit for placements.
