Raizada Dharam Das Institute of Education and Technology houses a range of facilities designed to enhance the learning experience of its students. A fully-stocked library contains approximately 3,250 books on a range of topics related to teaching including journals, case studies, newspapers and magazines. The library also provides audio-visual resources in the form of CDs and cassettes for learners of all kinds. Pragmatic training is provided through several laboratory facilities in a range of specialties such as science lab, psychology lab, educational technology lab, work experience lab, social science lab and computer lab. These facilities provide practical experience to the students who are essential in their later life when they will become teachers. The campus consists of a boys' hostel in which boys can reside within the campus boundary but there is an added charge for this. A canteen caters to the food-related needs of staff and the students while sports facilities maintain the physical and group well-being of the students.
Raizada Dharam Das Institute of Education and Technology conducts two courses in education of teachers at two different levels:. The institute's course portfolio encompassed a B.Ed programme with 100 seats, with the medium of instruction in Urdu and a Diploma in Elementary Education with 50 seats, where the medium of instruction is Urdu. Of both of the programmes, it is meant to be undertaken over two years, through intense training of the participants looking forward to becoming teachers. In total, there are 150 seats in both of the two programmes available in the institute as these have been known to yield just qualified educators geared to making the future brighter in the education sectors.

For admissions to B.Ed, the criterion followed is the marks in the qualifying examination and/or performance in an entrance examination. Like this, D.El.Ed has also followed the merit-based selection process, wherein the criterion for selection is the merit of the candidate based on the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance test.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: Raizada Dharam Das Institute of Education and Technology has 100 seats under its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course. Admission to B.Ed is on merit basis by taking into account marks secured in the qualification examination and/or an entrance exam performance. The medium of teaching under this course is Urdu. It is a two-year residential teachers' training course.
D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed program with an admission capacity of 50 seats works on the merit selection process, and the selection is based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and/or entry test. Similar to the B.Ed program, the instruction medium for D.El.Ed is also Urdu. The program is designed to complete within two years, with the aim of developing effective teachers for elementary education.
