College infrastructure is awesome maintanence also good. Digital classes, central library and high efficient labs are the key features of this college. Hostels are very clean with water facility and wifi.
I am studying B.Tech second year in CSE as I like it. But some newly joined faculty wont teach good, we follow youtube videos for concept. Senior faculty are excellent with proper guidance. College syllabus is updated only.
Placements are too good for CSE, ECE many students will get internships in Qualcomn, Intel, Amazon, HP companies and after they will job there only but inside campus some best companies like TechMahindra, Infosys, TCS, Wipro come and hire many students.
We get scholarship from government but based on family income and caste we pay around 5k to 11k per year. Values money.
Memorable life at college. Allround development of student.
This college is well in all facilities like good classrooms with projectors, speakers, A/Cs, effective laborataries for all branches. Hostels are very better than many other top colleges with wifi. Laptop facility for students. Some messes are not good.
College academics are okay in B.Tech because old faculty are few only many other came in these days but some only teach good. All is self learning only. College cirriculum is good, only important topics are included.
Placements have its own record many other will get with high package but oncampus average package may be 4-5 lakh rupees per annum. CDPC works too good for student development. College is much supportive.
Value for money much..because we need to pay around 5k to 11k based on their caste every thing will be free.
Beautiful nature cannot say much..all clubs, organisation, fests are effective. Good location but some times it seems like college in forest.
Our campus has great infrastructure as compared with all universities in Andhra Pradesh .We have Central Wifi installed across the campus(Including Dorms with 20-100 Mbps),State of the Art Labs,Library,Hostels,Academic Blocks,Sports,Research,10 Different Clubs,But food you have to adjust some what,Cafeteria,Super Market,Hospital,Temple,Church,Mosque and what else do we need.
My lovely part in the campus is unlimited sources .You have everything Internet,Faculty,Labs,Research,Clubs as mentioned before.RGUKT motto is "Learning by Doing" that is what you do here.In the initial stage all faculties are M.Tech /PHD from IIT ,other top universities. The curriculum exactly matches the 21st century needs ,they introduce IT and Coding from Start of Pre University Course onwards.
At this point the collage hasn't got a good reach. But students are placing in Big Tech companies like Microsoft,Amazon,Facebook ,Bosch and Other Public Organisations like DRDO,ISRO,IITs etc.But collage still need to improve in placements.Companies will come for both Internships & full time recruitment.
I only pay 10000/- per year that’s what I pay.
I really enjoy campus life .What a campus in the forest no pollution, big campus,Friends etc.Occasions are very well celebrated one of them is "Abhiyanth".It is the Annual Technical and Cultural festival of collage we enjoy a lot.On other occasions like Vinayaka chaturdhi, holy,Deepavali etc
College has super facilities for students like big classrooms, mooc halls, lecture halls, library, canteen , bank, ground, temple, mosque, church etc.. Hostels are big and very free space in rooms with always wifi.
Academics are very good all are practically explained by faculty. College cirriculum is changed every year, so no stability. In engineering all wont teach well but student should take care self. It makes job-ready.
Placements are good, CDPC in this college plays key role in inviting companies to college like WIPRO, TCS, Infosys, Intel etc. Percentage of students placed is 60 to 70% and average salary is 4lakh per annum.
We get scholarship from government because we are ration card holders. But need to pay some amount based on our caste. Values money much
College is extraordinary. Full greenery, forest, valleys, hills etc. True friends and good faculty.
College infrastructure is filled with all facilities like classrooms, labs, bank, canteen, guest house, canteen, sports centre. All living places are clean and hygiene. All are well-maintanence but sometimes not done at.
Studies are good till puc only but in btech everything need is self-learning. The cirriculum is updated every year based on latest trends. This makes job-ready but it based on their skills required for industry.
The quality of placements is good mostly for CSE, ECE but remaining branches have less but they can try to software jobs too. Every year more than half students get placements. College is supportive in placements.
Really value for paying money, B.P.L card holders will get scholarship from state government.
College life is fabulous and I cannot express in limited words
Infrastructure of RGUKT is outstanding. It is no less than IIT's.It has a central library,a labcomplex, two big play grounds and much more. Two outstanding 'Academic Blocks' for academics and administration.Seven more academic buildings(already constructed),one for each branches are yet to be inaugurated.
The curriculum is not updated regularly when compared to other top end universities. The faculty are also not teaching about the emerging technologies. So the quality of teaching is average. But recent advancements suggests there may be a good academics ahead for the upcoming batches.
Many companies are coming to the university for recruitment. The package is considerable lower than competing universities in the country. Our University is very supportive when it comes to placements. We have placement cell that helps the students in all the ways.
RGUKT is extremely value for money unless you are an NRI or belongs to the state other than Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.Govt. give scholarships to all the students irrespective of the community you belong to.
You can have the best experience in your life being in RGUKT.Our university is surrounded by forests and hills. So you can have a chance to climb the hill or roam int the forests and do 'Man vs Wild' along with your friends.Teachers are so friendly. We have a hospital in the campus that helps in emergency situations.
I have a couple of years to explore more of the RGUKT but upto now I can safely say you wouldn't be disappointed. You will get more than you expect in every aspect.
Yes...In class such a internet, ports, projector facility and in laboratories such as laptops practical teaching..and in hostels such as wifi, water facilities.. Living places are clean and in libraries such as books that we wanted and they allow us to fetch book to our hostel rooms...
Iam studying engg 2nd year with course computer science and engineering and my aim is to become a software engineer so I have taken this course myself.. and coming to quality its average in my point of view..not fully updated curriculum..it may sometimes or may not...
Quality of placements is good for computer science and engineering ..50%of students are getting placed..average salary is about 20000 per month..I don't know exactly about that whether the placement process is easy or not because i never faced it till now because I am just 2nd year student of btech..as my senior review that they feel the placement process is easy..
Its 11000 per year because my caste is OC.. Yes I feel moneys worth for my college because I feel that 11000 is not enough to study b.tech in other colleges..this is the only reason I say money is worth to spend..
The best feature of my college is extra curricular activities are getting better now-a-days like yoga, dance, singing, and sports like hockey, cricket etc..most of the students are getting engaged in sports.. The location is safe because no pollution found and it may fail in handling emergency because hospital in our college is not good for better treatment as per my view.. and I feel that most of the faculties are not too better to deal our subjects..
For people like poor background the college is outstanding because they can't afford the money for the course..and this is the only reason that I am recommending this college...
Great infrastructure with heartwarming climate and environment. Our university have many facilities like LAN networks and WiFi ,provides a laptop to each individual. Paperless content and online examinations also one among them. Well structured classes and laboratories makes us to feel much comfortable in learning .
I am persuing civil engineering.I am very much interested in infrastructure and Transportation fields, so I choose civil as my discipline. Out core have much more syllabus that we can't cover in the limited semisters. No campus placements for our core.we have less interaction with our sister universities.I think practical knowledge will make us job-ready.
It's been 3 years ,very few companies visited our campus for our core (civil). Placements are good for Computer science and Electronic Engineering .One of our seniors was offered 25 lakhs per annum. I didn't attend any of campus drives as they were mostly from tech companies.
Our college charges 40000 Rupees for engineering course in which 29000 will be payed by government of Andhra Pradesh and the remaining amount have to be paid by us .(Payable amount changes accordingly to reservation system).I feel I am getting my money's worth. As we are from rural background ,we are getting fair education atleast.
We had much facilities but no proper usage. We have clubs but no proper platform to enhance our knowledge.College will not encourage all kinds of activities apart from academics and sports.
It's a government college and the intake will be governed by college management based on SSC marks.
We have pleasent climate and an outstanding desing of our college. We also have a ground for different games. We have all the necessary facilities required in our college. It's moreover felt as a second home. We have a perfect laboratories and equipment required. We have a central library with more than 2000 books divided as per the branch of students they are all well maintained by our staff. We are provided with wifi in dormitories too. All the places are neat and clean.
I am currently doing my btech in electronics and communication engineering. I opted this branch becoz I love solving circuits. Teaching staff in my branch are higly qualified and teach us from basics to depth of the particular subject. We get our syllabus plan for every semester for both labs and classes. And we will be trained in both ways to make sure we get ready to answer GATE and campus placements.
I can say that around 80 percent of students get placed every year. And the remaining 29 percent might have been preparing for higher studies or GATE. Average salary offered might be around 3.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. My college always supports the one who is interested to attend the placement. As I am studying still I haven't attended the interview process but according to the people attended I am proving the information.
It depends on the scholarship amount.
The college infrastructure is outstanding with all facilities but some times it lack of maintenance but classes all good with digital projectors, speakers and all. Labs are effective at sometimes but for sure that this kind of labs cannot available in many colleges.
Studies are very good here but some new faculty may not teach well. College curriculum is updated every year with recent developments. Yeah, this makes job-ready with all necessary skills required for the industry.
Placements are very good but students need to be attentive with good communication skills. The average package may be from 3-4lakh rupees per annum. Highest placements are for software companies only but some core companies also come.
Government school students will get a scholarship here based on their family income and caste. But another state students pay 1.36 lakh per annum. Values for money well.
Best college life here in this college, it has very best features like greenery, nature, valleys etc.. Faculty are good supportive based on the student behaviour. Its location is available for main road of Rayaochoty to Vempalle connecting Gandi.
