About RILS Bangalore

Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies (RILS) comes into existence in the year 2016 which is a leading legal education in Bangalore, Karnataka. This affiliated college which is approved by the Bar Council of India is home to several integrated law courses on its small 0.5 acres campus. Currently, 228 students and 12 faculties are teaching and learning in RILS and give indication towards its focused learning environment.

Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies has got numerous facilities to equip the institute that helps students to improve their learning styles. The backbone of RILS is a modern library which interconnects the parties interested in the legal realm and provides them with necessary information. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi which enhances the internet connection and supports use of equipments and instructional methods. For the convenience of students who need accommodation facilities, RILS has well-equipped boys and girls hostels with single, double, as well as triple sharing occupancy along with furniture and fittings. The college cafeteria is designed as a place to recharge, so students can have a rest before or after classes. The institution’s health is accorded top priority through the presence of a health centre on campus to attend to first aid emergencies. The IT facilities of the institute are developed; the computer land with all the updated soft wares and internet connection for the legal databases such as Manupatra, etc. RILS also provides for an all round student experience to students with sports and recreation facilities as well as cultural amenities.

Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies have in its portfolio, two integrated law programmes all of which are five years in duration. These are BA LLB and BBA LLB educational courses, where in addition to an extensive study of law, students can also major in arts, business administration or commerce respectively.

Admission procedure in the Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies for integrated law programmes is to identify intelligent and more committed students. Prospective students are required to clear one of the following entrance examinations. CLAT, LSAT, AILET or the RILS of the institute respectively for Law courses; and AIPMT or the IPU CET of the institute for Medical sciences. RILS Bangalore Admission

Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies (RILS), Bangalore is an institution of legal education. The Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies admission process for the academic session starts from August-September. For Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies admission, student applicant needs to clear one of the entrance exams mentioned: Common Law Admission Test, Law School Admission Test, All India Law Entrance Test, or the entrance test conducted by the institute itself - RILS entrance test.

For eligibility, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies provides an integrated law of three years at the undergraduate degree level, with majors in BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB. The law programmes have durations of five years. The undergraduate degree will make students learn immense study about laws along with various specialisations.

RILS Bangalore Application Process 

This application procedure to the Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies, Bangalore comprises the following process:

  • Entrance Exam: Candidates are first required to clear one of the entrance exams that is accepted. CLAT, LSAT, AILET, or the entrance test by the RILS are such exams.

RILS Bangalore BA LLB Admission Process

The BA LLB is a five-year integrated programme combines arts and law. Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies admission is based on the candidate's performance in CLAT, LSAT, AILET, or RILS entrance exam. The programme has an approved intake of 60 students.

RILS Bangalore BBA LLB Admission Process

The BBA LLB is an integrated course that combines business administration and law in a five-year programme. Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies BBA LLB admission process is the same as for BA LLB; candidates must pass one of the entrance exams specified for admission. As with the other programmes, 60 students are allowed to take admission in this programme as well.
