The Regional College of Science and Humanities (RCSH) was started in 2003, is an affiliated college situated in Malappuram, Kerala. RCSH is located on 35 acre campus land and is spreading its services to 863students offering various kinds of courses. The college has 33 dedicated members of faculty, and these members helps students complete 11 courses in 6 degree programmes. RCSH is dedicated to academic excellence in science, humanities & commerce streams, etc. This is evident in different facilities within the institution and different extra curricula activities meant to develop balance human beings.

Regional College of Science and Humanities boasts of well equipped facilities that are essential in improving the learning facility of the students. The college library, a place of learning, has a stock of more than 10000 books, journals, and magazines to support student’s learning needs. Computer students have a special advantage since the modern computer laboratory helps one gain hands-on experience on up-to-date software and peripherals. An added advantage of the facilities in a science institution is that there are well furnished Biochemistry lab, complementary nutrition lab for pendant courses. The college also cleaner cafeteria which provides the students with well cooked and healthy foods at any time of the day. In its bid to meet the accommodation needs of its students, RCSH has hostels that are available separately for boys and girls and are purposely built to afford comfortable accommodation to enable students do away with home considerations that may distract them from their books.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: RCSH has self-supported B.Com programmes in Computer Applications and Finance, both with approved intake of 60 students. Admission is likely to be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) with Commerce or allied subjects.

BA: The college offers BA in Sociology and English on self-financed basis. Strength for the subject Sociology is 60 and English is 40. Minimum requirements usually are done based on performance in the 10+2 exam with the subjects as chosen for courses.

B.Sc: RCSH offers B.Sc programs in Computer Science, Biochemistry, Physics, and Food Technology. Each of the courses has an approved strength of 24 students. Admission is generally on the basis of marks secured in the 10+2 examination with Science subjects.

BBA: There is a self-financing course of BBA with a strength of 30 students. The admission is likely to be based on 10+2 examination performance and, if so, a merit-based selection process.

M.Com: RCSH has an M.Com in Finance (self-financed) with a strength of 20 students. The candidate must possess a B.Com or equivalent degree. The admission may be based on graduation marks and/or entrance test.

MA: The college has an MA in Sociology (self-financed) with a strength of 15 students. Students who have graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology or related disciplines are eligible to apply. Admission can be accepted on the basis of graduation marks and possibly through an entrance test or interview.
