Academic wise as a student there , this college is not less than any other tier 2 NITs . There is a tough competition among students for better score. A overview all new students should know is that everyone almost everyone is a good student since they had to qualify JEE before coming here so underestimating anyone would be big mistake .

The placement scenario at NITA has shown considerable improvement in recent years . It’s this aspect that dragged me here other than any NIT . Around 70-80% students of branch CSE,ECE,EE AND EIE gets placement every year .

Placement of IMM is very good and All the students are placed and All the students is placed in MNCs and Big4 company. Average package of IMM is 9.09LPA and Domestic highest package is 19 LPA and international package is 29LPA.

Some companies visit the campus but not many companies. Placement is better for tech students than for all students. Only few students get the opportunity. Training for an interview is basic and college need to build more connections.

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus size is Huge and all facilities are good. Labs here are fully functional systems with Wi-Fi assistance. Classrooms and labs are AC-fitted. Spacious classrooms are there with projector screens and other important facilities. The library is also very good and very spacious. It has great books. Books are always available. Hostel facilities are also good.

Teachers are very much helpful and have a good knowledge of the subject. Teaching quality is also very good. If you ask them doubts, they will tell you many times. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry and prepares students for the real world. Semester exams in the college are a little bit tough. Most of the students are able to pass the exams easily but some are not.

Percentage of students get placed at my college is Excellent. The percentage of students that get placed is around 96% with top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Adobe, LinkedIn, Cisco, etc. The percentage of students getting internships is less but companies do come for internship opportunities. The highest package in 2025 was 30 LPA given by LinkedIn and the average was around 9-10 LPA. The lowest must be around 5-6 LPA.
