Clean and well-maintained classrooms are available, and there are basic lab facilities for biotechnology students, though the equipment is a little outdated. There is a central library with adequate reference books, journals, and research material.

Faculty members in the biotechnology department are cooperative and well-qualified. They possess good subject knowledge and mentor us in theoretical as well as practical concepts. There are a few of them who assist with research projects and higher studies preparation as well.
Placements
Barely 30–35% of the students get placed, and the packages are also not that great, ranging primarily between ₹2–3 LPA. Most seniors suggested that you have to work harder through off-campus drives and higher studies to obtain better opportunities. A placement cell has been established recently, but biotech-specific placements are not good.

Around 40%-705% of the B.Tech ME of the 2024 batch got placed. The highest salary offered was 36 LPA, the average package would be around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for were Accenture, IBM, Carelon, Genpact, and Thales. Roles offered were mostly software engineer.

The course and faculty are nice in our department and the hostel is very near the college. The same goes for the mess; it is very good compared to other colleges. Many lecturers are PhD graduates. They also enrolled in projects based on semiconductors in our college research center. The course curriculum is relevant. We also have practical work to do, either for studying for college exams or industrial visits. Exams are quite hard compared to other colleges.

About 65% of students get placed in different companies. The highest package is 21 LPA, but in our department, the highest package offered is 7 LPA. TCS is the top recruiter of our college. Infosys and HCL are minor recruiters.
