As a third-year IT student at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, I truly appreciate the modern computer labs, fresh classrooms, and strong Wi-Fi that make completing assignments and projects much easier. The library is one of my favorite places on campus, with plenty of tech books and digital resources. Hostel life is comfortable and safe, though I really wish the canteen menu changed more often—I enjoy the food, but after three years, I crave variety.

The academic curriculum covers all the required engineering subjects, but the teaching techniques are traditional and have less practical exposure. some faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive while some of them are also not engaging.

The placement opportunities in this engineering college is limited, especially for core engineering branches. Only number of companies arrive for placement drive and most of them offer average package which varies from 2LPA to 4LPA.
Campus Life
The college offer many activities beyond academics like sports competition, cultural fest, and many more which motivates student to take part or enjoy these fest. Apart from this, the campus crowd is friendly and diverse.

My college is overall average, with both good and not-so-good aspects. The canteen definitely needs improvement as the food and facilities are not up to the mark. The library, although useful, has limited seating capacity, making it difficult to find a place to sit and study. Another major issue is the Wi-Fi, which doesn’t work properly in the library and is not available in all parts of the campus. These areas need attention to make the college experience better for students.

am currently in my third year, pursuing Computer Science as my major and Mathematics as my minor in the BA Programme. Unfortunately, the department is not very strong in my college. There are very few teachers, and even they are not always clear about the ongoing curriculum, which leaves both students and teachers confused. This affects the learning experience and creates unnecessary uncertainty. While the timing of classes is manageable, overall, the department needs much improvement in terms of faculty strength and proper curriculum guidance.

The placement cell in my college is moderate, not very strong. Many students still struggle to find the right opportunities and guidance. At times, there seems to be a lack of clarity and even a sense of bias, especially since there isn’t a proper space or system dedicated to every department. This sometimes leads to coordinators or certain groups getting more preference than others. Overall, the placement cell is okay, but it definitely needs improvement to ensure fair and better opportunities for all students.

I've joined this college in 2023-2027 session for my Under Graduation, and persuing Btech In Computer Science and Engineering. And when it comes to College Campus, there're six blocks according to departments. Btech to BBA and LAW to B.Ed. all cources are available in this college.

I'm persuing Btech in Computer science and engineering, and the faculty is very kind and supportive with us. They teach and make sure to practice and update daily to daily at our college group and settle.

Placement is guaranteed and Training placement officer are nice and sweet. World fare held in every year and companies visits to choose students according to their resources and flexibility. I love this college.

Canteen is big but sometimes not very clean and washrooms need better maintenence. Green campus make it nice to study but space get crowded during peak times. Overall its okay for daily use.

They do workshops and projects to keep update. Teachers are friendly and help with doubts but some classes feel overload.

Placements for BCA is decent with 80-85% students get job. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant come and offer packages from 3 to 9 LPA average 6-7. Placement cell help with training and internships. But for other courses its low and off campus need own effort. Its better than many but not top level.

Campus life is fun with events like Aarohan and sports fest. They have gym, volleyball court and green area to relax. Safe for girls and near bus stand. But no big hall or many fests in some department and crowd depend on branch. BCA have decent group but less extracurricular sometime. Its healthy environment.
