Rural Dental College, Loni, established in 1989, is a premier dental institution situated in Loni, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. It operates under the aegis of the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), a Deemed University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college has many facilities that cater to the comfort and learning of the students. Six hundred seventy and 1115 students are accommodated in the two hostels allotted for boys and girls on the campus. All the multiple hostels of the college are fully equipped with modern facilities with an uninterrupted power supply. First aid facility is provided at the Rural Dental College in case of health hazards. The college of dentistry offers 9 full-time courses, comprising a programme in Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a few specialty courses in Master of Dental Surgery. The total approved intake for all courses is 122 seats. This includes that the flagship BDS programme is designed to intake 100 students, while the MDS programmes, in turn, provide specialized training in Orthodontics, Periodontology, Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, and Oral Pathology.
