B.Tech Marine Engineering at Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies, Pune Offline Course

Age   -    Not less than 17 years (As on the date of commencement of course)

•              Not more than 20 years (As on the date of commencement of course)
•               Unmarried
• Results of Class 12th board exam should be obtained at FIRST ATTEMPT and from a Regular Board only
  
  Only those candidates who have appeared for class XII board examinations from a board that is approved by the Ministry of HRD, Govt of India are eligible.
  
  The following marks must be obtained
•  Minimum Aggregate Percentage - 60%
• Minimum PCM aggregate - 60%
• Minimum score in Physics & Maths individually - 50%
• Minimum aggregate for Physics & Maths - 60%
• For Andhra Pradesh & Kerala State boards: 11th & 12th aggregate marks will be considered for the above mentioned criteria.
  
  Candidates who have appeared for XII examinations with the results yet to be declared, are also eligible to appear. 
• Medical  - Physically fit and meet the standards laid out by DG Shipping & ESM / SIMS*
• Language  - English shall be one of the subjects with minimum marks scored 50% in class X or XII
•  Eyesight    - 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in the better eye & 6/18 in the other eye. Corrective lenses are permitted. No color-blindness
• Passport  - The candidate must be in possession of a valid passport prior to joining the course
