Hey aspirant,
You should choose only that branch in which you feel you are comfortable with. Because of course you won't want to waste your four years of life in studying something in which you are not interested.
Also, the colleges are preferred on the basis of one's priorities.
However if we see the placement statistics of both the colleges then highest package offered by svnit is 39 lpa and average is around 4-6lpa.whereas in Nit calicut the highest package offered is 50 lpa and average ranges around 7-10lpa.
So, on the basis of placement statistics I would suggest you to go for Nit calicut but as I mentioned above the choice should be totally yours.

College Infrastructure
There are separate blocks for each department with required lab equipment and teaching tools. Smart classrooms help make teaching more interactive. The college also provides a seminar hall, computer centers, and internet access. A large library supports students with academic and general reading material. Hostel facilities are comfortable with food, water, and safety measures.

College Infrastructure
The classrooms are tidy and equipped for smooth teaching. There are computer labs with working systems, internet, and good lighting. The mechanical and electronics labs have working models and machines for hands-on practice. There are clean restrooms, drinking water facilities, and medical support on campus. The hostel blocks are safe, well-guarded, and provide peaceful spaces for study. Sports grounds and indoor game areas are available for physical activities and relaxation.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is clean, decent, and student-friendly. Classrooms have projectors and fans, and labs are properly maintained for different departments. The library is calm and has enough academic material and past year papers. The campus also has spaces for group study and computer usage. Hostels are safe and offer a calm environment for study. Overall, the campus gives students all the basic needs required for learning.
