Saraswati College of Teachers' Training, Dausa is one of the leading teacher-training colleges in Rajasthan. The PTET is generally set a few months before the commencement of the academic year, which is approximately in August or September. Eligibility criteria for admission vary in different programmes. The qualification for B.Ed, B.A. B.Ed, and B.Sc. B.Ed programmes requires candidates to have passed their respective qualifying degrees from recognised institutions. The D.El.Ed programme might have different eligibility criteria-mostly concerning higher secondary education.

B.Ed: Admission to the B.Ed. programme at Saraswati College is conducted through the Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) conducted by the affiliated university. It has been given approved intake of 100 students. Candidates must clear the PTET and satisfy university eligibility criteria to be considered for admission.
B.Sc.-B.Ed.: This integrated programme is also following the PTET-based admission process. It has an approved intake of 100 students. Candidates have to be very competent in natural sciences and appear for the PTET and only after this would they be eligible for admission.
BA-B.Ed: Just like in the B.Sc-B.Ed, admissions to the BA-B.Ed programme will be based on the scores obtained in the PTET. The approved intake is 100 students. Candidates with arts would be preferred for admission to this integrated programme.
D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed. admission, unlike other programmes, operates entirely on merit. The selection is mainly based on the marks scored in the examination of qualification, whether through a state or entrance examination. These should further conform to the policy as decreed by the state government or union territory administration. This programme has been approved for 50 students.
