Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology is a four-year full-time course offered by Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology, Surat and affiliated to Sarvajanik University, Surat and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

(1) For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum eligibility criteria of percentage of marks in subjects prescribed by AICTE from time to time from,

(i) the Gujarat Board; or

(ii) the Central Board of Secondary Education:

Provided that,

(a) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or

(b) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli and whose parents are of Gujarat origin; or

(iii) the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi:

Provided that,

(a) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or

(b) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli and whose parents are of Gujarat origin; or

(iv) the National Institute of Open Schooling:

Provided that,

(a) the study Center/school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or

(b) the study Center/school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli and whose parents are of Gujarat origin; or

(v) the International School Board:

Provided that,

(a) the study Center/school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the State of Gujarat; or

(b) the study Center/school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli and whose parents are of Gujarat origin; and

(vi) have appeared in GUJCET conducted in the corresponding academic year.

(2) A candidate whose parents are of Gujarat origin and are serving out of the Gujarat in the service of Central Government or other State Government, Armed Forces, Boards or Corporations owned or controlled by the Central Government or other State Government or any nationalized bank and who has passed the qualifying examination from the State where parents are serving and has appeared in the GUJCET conducted in the corresponding academic year, shall be eligible for admission and his candidature shall be included in the merit list prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 11.

(3) A candidate who has passed the Qualifying Examination from any other State and,

(i) has appeared in GUJCET conducted in the corresponding academic year; and

(ii) whose parents are serving in the category of services as shown below and who are transferred from other States to Gujarat and have resumed their duties in the place where they are transferred in the state of Gujarat at the time of registration for admission, shall be eligible for admission and his candidature shall be included in the merit list prepared in accordance with the provision of Rule 11.

Admission Details

The admission shall be on the basis of Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) entrance exam.

College Infrastructure

Classrooms are clean and comfortable with multimedia setups. Labs are regularly updated, especially for branches like civil and IT. The library has thousands of books and is accessible digitally as well. The cafeteria offers fresh and affordable meals. Hostels provide a good environment for studying and relaxing. The college also has conference halls, auditoriums, and seminar rooms used for events and guest talks.

College Infrastructure

The college offers a peaceful campus with modern learning spaces. Classrooms are airy and fitted with modern teaching aids. Labs for mechanical, computer, and electronics streams have all the essential equipment. The library is updated and provides online resources too. There are separate common rooms, a good canteen, and clean restrooms. For students who stay in hostels, the college provides basic furniture, Wi-Fi, and food.

College Infrastructure

Well Organized campus with all the basic and modern amenities. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectors. Laboratories are well-equipped with the latest tools for practical learning. There are separate hostels with decent rooms and a calm environment for studying. The library is big and has both physical books and digital resources. Students also get access to good sports and cultural facilities, and the entire campus has a friendly and safe atmosphere.
