ITM University Gwalior hereby known as a School of Law, has been a constituent college in the field of Law since its formation in the year 2003. It is a co-education university situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh with a total area of 125 acres of land. BCI approved, this school is fitting the different needs of the legal profession with its law programmes. Due to its concern for quality, the School of Law has emerged as a leading institution for legal education in the country, which offers six courses across five programmes of study such as BA LLB (Hons), B. Com LLB (Hons), and LLB.
ITM University—this one has a rich list of facilities that can facilitate the learning process of students. The library, being one of the major resources for teaching and learning law, is completely computerised with a strength of one hundred and one thousand plus volumes of books, periodicals and journals on different facets of the law and related disciplines. Students interested in litigation are offered the Moot Court facility by the school, which can easily give the students live exposure to the courtroom. The admission procedure to various law programmes offered at ITM SOL is as mentioned below.
The BA LLB Hons course provides 120 seats. Entry is designed on the basis of merit through the ITM-NEST entrance exam. Candidates must have completed 10+2 and should possess qualifying marks as mentioned by the university.
The B.Com LLB Hons is another five-year integrated programme with 120 seats. ITM SOL B.Com LLB Hons admission is the same as for BA LLB (Hons), and candidates must clear the ITM-NEST exam. This is ideal for students interested in combining legal studies with commerce.
The admission process for BBA LLB Hons is similar to the other five-year courses, and it is based on the performance in ITM-NEST.
The three-year traditional LLB course has 120 seats. The admission is based on the ITM-NEST exam. Candidates must have passed any bachelor's degree from a recognised university. They are eligible to seek this course.
The LLM Criminal Law is a postgraduate one-year course. There is the ITM-NEST entrance test, and the candidates who clear it will be chosen. The candidates must be an LLB or equivalent degree pass holder.
The LLM in Constitutional Law is also of one-year duration. Here, too, candidates have to clear the ITM-NEST exam to get admitted. A bachelor's degree in law is eligible for this course.
