School of Studies in Computer Science and Application was started in 1995 under the Jiwaji University at Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This institution has become famous for providing education in computer science as well as a broad spectrum of programs for the IT enthusiasts. Accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE, much emphasis is placed on academic quality and student/faculty ratio in the school. Having a faculty strength of two members that consist of two professionals, it can provide adequate and focused education for all enrolees of the school.

The campus of the School of Studies in Computer Science and Application provide necessary infrastructure facilities for the students in their academic and other realms. The University Central Library being a warehouse of information celebrities contains more than 140000 books and about 8000 volumes of bound periodicals. It also has access to more than 142 Indian and foreign journals and periodicals to ensure that the students get updated informations and current developments in this respective field of study. In addition to the above the library is endowed with such contemporary facilities as internet connection, a micro-film reader, an educational 16mm projector among others. Sport enthusiasts will find the Mahadji Scindia Sports Complex to be packed with exciting features such as floodlit basketball and tennis courts, volleyball courts, both hockey and football grounds as well as one 400-meter track. There are new facilities in the form of Madhav Rao Scindia Gymnasium that has fully installed fitness apparatus for the modern workout lovers.

 School of Studies in Computer Science & Application provides a total number of five full time courses at the under graduate and post graduate levels in the field of computer science and related areas. Such programmes are BCA, MCA, MBA in E-commerce, PGDCA, and M.Phil Computer science and Application.

Application Process

3. Entrance Test: Appear for the entrance test on the day of the exam.

  • For PGDCA: Merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

5. Document Submission: In case of being shortlisted, documents to submit generally include:

  • Graduation mark sheet (postgraduate courses),
  • Scorecard of the entrance exam (if applicable),

Degree wise Admission Process

BCA: Admissions for the BCA program are merit-based for the common entrance test conducted by Jiwaji University. The school has an approved intake of 60 students.

MBA E-Commerce: Admission to the program at this postgraduate level is also through the common entrance test conducted by Jiwaji University. The approved intake is 43 students.

MCA: Admissions for MCA will be on the basis of the Pre MCA test conducted by VYAPAM Bhopal. The course is allowed for a total of 40 students.

PGDCA: Merit in the index prepared for qualifying examination marks. The approved intake is 40.

M.Phil Computer Science and Applications: A part-time, research-oriented program done through an entrance test conducted by Jiwaji University will have course intake approved for 10 students.
