SGM English Medium College of Commerce and Management, Anand Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has Provided a Hostel where each room has a capacity of three students. Each student is provided with a separate cot, mattress, pillow, writing table, chair, and cupboard. There are water purifiers with coolers, a Solar water heater, College faculty appointed as Rector and Superintendent, Security facilities, Sports facilities, and Gymnasium at a highly subsidized rate. Moreover, college faculties are appointed for hostel visits every week to interact with the students.

Moreover, college faculties are appointed for hostel visits every week to interact with the students, check for problems in their comfortable stay, have dinner, and provide feedback to the Principal and Hostel coordinator from the college.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility.

The college has a Gym facility for all the students.

The college has an open central square of 15550 sq. ft for conducting in-house activities. The college has a well-equipped Sports Room with various sports kits and equipment. For outdoor games, the college has a huge sports ground of 17 acres as a shared facility owned by our parent trust - Charutar Vidya Mandal.

The College provides in a true sense a gateway to the world of applications and information resources with the help of 250+ Computers and other IT Infrastructure. The college is equipped with three computer labs, each having a capacity of 70 computers with 100 Mbps of a switched network, and 14 Mbps of the centralized leased line for the internet. With the latest computers on LAN, the 1:1 computer-student ratio enhances the value of the Centre. Moreover, the Internet Security & Acceleration Server, Web Server, and Mail Server, ensure live access for our students to the Internet world.

The college has a canteen facility for all the staff and students.

The College has an excellent Air-Conditioned Auditorium with a capacity of 170 seats. The auditorium is equipped with a multimedia projector and Dolby Sound System. It has also an Audio-Visual Recording System.

The College likes to keep in constant touch with its students even after their graduation and likes to play a key role in their welfare and further betterment paving the way in all possible ways. With this aim in view, it started the Alumni Association.

The College also has a Wi-Fi network running on shared bandwidth.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has 20 well-lit classrooms with provisions for using modern teaching amenities. Every Classroom is equipped with an IP Camera and Audio Visual Recording Facility so that students can re-visit the classroom lecture as many times as they wish. Every lecture conducted is recorded and uploaded on BlueBook Network “Impartus” which can be accessed by Registered SEMCOM Students, anytime, from anywhere, over the Internet.
