The Shadan Women College of Pharmacy was established in the academic year 1997, at Darulshifa, Hyderabad, Telangana to promote the education of women in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. It is a women’s college affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University providing various courses in pharmacy at the under- graduate and post- graduate level. Accredited Pharmacy College by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the college aims at imparting quality education in the respective stream of Pharmacy. The institute is situated on a very small plot of land of 1.038 acres and the total intake of the students is 373 and the number of faculty members in the institute is 43. Located in Hyderabad, India, Shadan Women’s College of Pharmacy generates strong educational courses with five different pharmaceutical oriented tracks through two degree programmes exclusively for women dedicated to achieving different high positions in pharmaceutical markets.
Shadan Women College of Pharmacy provides student resource such as facility that will enhance the student’s learning and development. This well-developed library has the facility to sit more than one hundred and fifty students at a time and internet also available on this particular floor. For the purpose of training the college retains departmental laboratories for the practical purpose providing the students with a practical experience. It appears that IT infrastructure was provided in the form of a computer lab that has cease of fifteen computers and that the administration had the plan to expand the capacity of the laboratory. Pursuit of health and wellbeing is provided with first aid located in the college health facilities. It also has an event and seminar facility; cafeteria for faculty and students; and lounges for guest and visiting faculty and students’ families. The Training and Placement Cell only assists in the process by providing companies with schedules for campus interviews and all other necessary arrangements that need to be made with the respective companies for the placement of the graduating students.

Shadan Women’s College of Pharmacy gives admission through merit and entrance tests to the students. For B.Pharma admissions, the college accepts the scores of Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET). There are some postgraduate engineering colleges which allow the admission of aspiring students through TS PGECET and GPAT.
