The college infrastructure is good. Classrooms and laboratories are equipped air conditioners. There is clean drinking water and rain water harvesting system. Washrooms are well maintained. All amenities are available, the construction is sturdy.
The faculty is exceptional and devoted to their discipline. They give out regular assignments and tests. There is complete transperancy and accountability. There are regular doubt sessions and the teachers are very helpful.
There is placement cell in the college , psychology honours courses here are not eligible for placement cell interviews. Placement cells are helpful and cooperative. The college is connected with many renowned companies.
The college is value for money simply because of the faculty and experience. SRCASW offers young women with new opportunities and has an array of societies where young girls can learn responsibility, ethics and integrity. Fees is appropriately priced. Fee contains exam fee and annual fee.
The SRCASW Campus is safe. The students , teachers and support staff are cooperative.Students can be a part of an array of societies devoted to service, extra curriculars, entrepreneurship etc. the playground and nearby eateries serve as the best place to chill in between classes.
The college's infrastructure is decent. Although the campus may feel relatively small, the basic infrastructure, including laboratories, washrooms, classrooms, and equipment, is all present and well-maintained with cleanliness. Sometimes, there can be issues with cleanliness itself, and the psychology laboratory may feel small. The classrooms are all decently maintained and spacious.
Although the faculty is well versed with the curriculum and incredibly capable professors, there is a problem with the department being understaffed. The quality of teaching in the psychology department is great, but the curriculum (made by the University of Delhi) might feel a bit outdated, especially with some electives so one might want to choose electives wisely.
I believe campus placements are one of the weaker areas of the college, especially given that the placement for the departments other than BFIA feels less than exemplary and more to be desired. It can also have its own factors, such as students opting for masters, but I haven't seen much stellar performance in campus placement
Although there are colleges in DU with lower fees, this college is decently affordable with 75k for 3-4 years. I do believe that it's more about how you get the valuation out of your money and explore your own field on your own accords (especially for placement), but it's pretty much worth the money with relation to the academics and the infrastructure.
I think the best features of the college would be the admin block, the classroom, and the laboratories. As said earlier, the campus is relatively small but the infrastructure is decent so there is not as much room for campus life as one might want.
It truly depends on how you explore your own field, but the college in itself is decent
Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is an off campus college of University of Delhi but it's infrastructure is one of the bestest. The infrastructure of Srcasw is better than most of the DU colleges. Benches are good with AC classrooms. Fans and lights works perfectly fine. It offers a good stable environment for studies and helps in effective studying and improves focus as well. Library is quite good and well maintained. Wi fi facility of the college works great.
I am the student at Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women and pursuing BA in Psychology honours. This college offers a well structured curriculum of academics. Our teachers are very helpful and holds a good amount of knowledge and experience in the subjects they teach. Our classes happens on time and on regular basis. We get practicals and projects work that enhances our ability to be able to apply the theoretical knowledge in the outside world in our daily life.
Placements are also good. I would say that it's on the medium side. You can get placements depending on the cgpa you score. Also we have a society known as e cell which helps one get good placements also.
Studying at Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is definitely a value for money as it focuses equally on academics as well as on other curricular activities. The fees for one year is around 25K which is quite good and affordable. We have different societies for different activities and competitions. Alot of events, seminars, competitions are held by different societies and departments for its students. Srcasw doesn't only makes an individual a bookworm but helps in gaining good knowledge of other things as well.
Campus life is average as there are not much things to do around the college but we have a market where students usually go to eat and spend some time. We also have stationary shops which offers things at very affordable prices in that market.
College has basic infrastructure required for academic purposes. The laboratory facilities are alright too. Classroom's aren't always well maintained but considering all the other college's in DU, it's petty good.
The faculty is generally pretty supportive and it has a friendly and very encouraging environment as compared to other college's in DU. The psychology department does have a staffing issue which has caused problems but they manage to pull through overall in most cases.
Placement opportunities in terms of psychology are very limited. Even on a general scale the placement's on behalf of the college are never quite up to par. It is perhaps one of the weaker areas of the college.
According to the government college, infrastructure is good and specially the labs and computers in different departments. Wifi is available but only the teachers have access to the password. Charging points are everywhere in college and the generator works all day. Equipments are well maintained.
The teachers are really polite and easy to approach. They teach well and often asks us to reach out for help whenever possible. They stay up to date with the curriculum and works accordingly in order to provide the best to us.
Well I don't know much about placements and all in my field that is psychology. But I'm sure in other departments, placements are really good and there are good salary options available for everyone.
Welll yeah absolute, the courses in government colleges are cheaper as compared to the private ones. With that amount of money the teachings is well and yeah it's totally worth it.
Campus is pretty good as well. Tho it's not that big but whatever we have is beautiful. People who loves dogs will definitely love the campus here because there are cute puppies. As a girls college safety is really good, even the delivery guy is not allowed in the college.
None
The infrastructre of Rajguru college is really impressive . Classrooms, seminars halls , and lecture theatres are well-maintained and neat. library is well-stocked with all the required books and study materials.
I'm currently pursuing BSC.(Hons) Mathematics from shaheed rajguru collgege The Mathematics department has excellent and experienced faculity. they emphasize student understanding and make concepts clearer
The placement opportunities fro maths students aren't very strong. this course was introduced only a few years ago , so the alumni network is still developing and then Maths students are also expected to improve
The annual fee for Bsc (H) Maths is approximately 23000 . Apart from that examination fees are paid twice according semister pattern compared to other institutions the fees here is quite affordable and the education quality justifies the amount you spend
The college has a vibrate campus life . there's large ground , an auditorium , and an open amphitheater for various functions the college located in off campus and offers a peaceful environment with a lots of grennery.
My experience at this college has been pleasant Although it's a bit far from main DU campus the learning atmosphere here is commendable. Faculty members and students are very cooperative . the atmosphere here motivates you to grow both personally and academically
Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure. I have heard that the lab facilities are also up to par. The wifi doesn't work, the classes might not always be well maintained. The cafetaria might always be clean but it is satisfactory. dirty washrooms
the teacher and professors, hods are very supportive, i think srcasw is one of the colleges of du that have nice and supporting staff, though staff for psychology is not upto par, sometimes it feels like teacher doesn't even know what they are teaching, they are young and unguided and do not have much experience
placement of srcasw is quite bad generally, it doesnt even go above 15k i think and like only 20 students are selected....................................................................................
22k/per year for ba hons psychology, not really worth t, price could be less, seeing the type of teaching we are getting
college is fine in general, no medical room tho, no printing room, dirty washroomss
I genuinely appreciate the infrastructure we have here. The college campus may not be very huge, but it's well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. The classrooms are spacious and well-lit, equipped with projectors and proper seating arrangements, which makes attending lectures comfortable. One of the best parts is the laboratories — they're modern, clean, and well-equipped, especially for science and applied courses. Whether it's the electronics lab, food tech lab, or computer labs, everything is updated regularly, which makes our practical sessions so much more effective. The library is another peaceful corner of the college. It’s got a good collection of books and journals, and the digital section is super helpful during research or assignments. Plus, there's free Wi-Fi on campus which is a big plus! There are also decent canteen facilities and some green spaces around the college that make the environment lively and fresh. Though we don’t have a massive sports ground, we do have some indoor and outdoor sports facilities that are well-utilized during college fests and events.
I can confidently say that the academic environment here is quite enriching and well-structured. The college offers a unique blend of applied sciences and professional courses, which keeps the curriculum both practical and industry-oriented. The faculty members are one of the biggest strengths of the college. Most of our professors are not only highly qualified but also genuinely passionate about teaching. They’re approachable, supportive, and always ready to guide us — whether it’s for classroom doubts, project work, or even career advice.
As a Biochemistry student at Shaheed Rajguru College, I’d say the placement scenario is fairly decent, especially considering that we’re from a pure science background. While placements in core Biochemistry roles aren’t as common as in some professional courses like BMS or Computer Science, the college still provides good opportunities if you’re proactive.
Good it's it good for students who are good at study.
Campus is very nice .
No
The college infrastructure is well-maintained, with spacious classrooms, kinda clean surroundings, and good facilities like Wi-Fi, library, and labs. The campus provides a comfortable environment for learning and growth.
The academic environment is structured and well-organized, with a competent faculty that supports student learning. The curriculum is updated, and a balance of theory and practicals enhances understanding.
The placement opportunities are quite disappointing. Most students have to find jobs on their own. The college lacks proper career support and industry exposure. Students often feel confused and unsupported throughout the process.
The college offers an average value for money. While the fees are relatively affordable, the return in terms of placements and exposure is not very high. However, the academic quality and campus life make up for it to some extent.
Campus life is vibrant and enjoyable, with a variety of clubs, events, and fests that keep students engaged. There's a friendly atmosphere, and opportunities to explore interests beyond academics are plenty.
If you get the chance to stay in the hostel, it's highly recommended. Hostel life helps in personal growth, building strong friendships, and learning essential life skills like independence and time management.
The campus is spacious and equip with modern facilities, including well, ventilated, classroom, science, laboratories, and computer labs with high speed. Internet access is a highlight offering peaceful environment for study along with human resources, including digital data basis.
The college provides undergraduate courses in art science along with gold graduates contributing significantly through the learning. Experience curriculum is regularly updated a line with standards. Moreover, the college emphasises research and encourage the student to engage in various Academy projects. The libraries well with wide range of books and genres Journal.
The cell is proactive showing that students are well. The college has established partnerships with various industries and companies which facilitates internship and job opportunities for students, organisers workshop on interview interview, skill development.
