Shri Guru Ram Dass College Of Nursing, founded in 2004 and located in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, is one of the most reputed colleges of Nursing. Located and spanning over three acres, the college provides a productive learning environment in its campus. The college is a women only college which reiterates the college’s agenda towards women liberation in the health sector. Committing to delivering 9 courses across 3 degree levels, Shri Guru Ram Dass College of Nursing has grown into an extensive institution for learning nursing.

To facilitate the learning process and the general growth of students, Shri Guru Ram Dass College Of Nursing has several developed facilities that can be considered as major learning amenities. The girls hostel has the capacity to house 500 students with an option of single and sharing rooms. The rooms are neat, ventilated and equipped with bed, wardrobe and study table. For building our physical strength the college offers fully equipped gym. The library is an information centre so it provides needed references and resources to any academic endeavor. Playing fields provide moderation between the academic year and the sporting activities in the course of the week. This have modern air conditioned computer LAB with internet connection to allow the students to update themselves with the current technology in health college. Other facilities are canteen, facility for production of events and seminars, practical laboratory for practical demonstrations, guest house for the faculties and relatives of faculties.

The courses include General Nursing and Midwifery, Post Basic Intensive Cardiac CT Course, Post Basic Paediatric CT Course, Post Basic ICU Course, Post Basic operating Theatre Course, ANM and Post Basic Psychiatric Course. It offers 9 full time courses as under part time, full time, undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. The approved intake of total seats of all the courses offered in college is 222 which indeed proves the capacity of the college to train a number of health care professionals each consecutive year. The courses cut across all the areas of specialty in nursing hence it covers all aspects of nursing.
