Shri Maharshi Dadhich S.M.S. Teachers Training College, founded in 2005, is one of the leading colleges situated in Kota (Rajasthan) providing education in the field of Sanskrit. The available apparatus in the psychological laboratory includes apparatus for simple exercises, for intelligence, aptitude, and creativity tests as well as personality scales, and in the educational technology laboratory, there are assorted audiovisual aids and art materials.
At present, there are three courses taught at SMDCSTC, all of which are bachelor’s degree programmes in teacher training programme. These include a two-year B.Ed programme and two four-year integrated programmes: BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed. The college has total student intake capacity of 400 Seats in all the courses offered in the college. The flagship course is the B.Ed programme that has the capacity to admit two hundred students and the integrated programmes: the BA B.Ed and B.Sc B.Ed programmes admitting one hundred students each.
