With a glorious identity as a teacher training institution for women, Shri Mati Chandrawal Gupta Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Abu Road. It is affiliated to Prof. Gopi Nath Vidyapeeth, Sirohi, Rajasthan, and is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). College admission is merit-based, with respectable and competent students given the opportunity of chasing their dreams of being teachers. Admission to Shri Mati Chandrawal Gupta Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya will be done by making a selection of candidates on the basis of merit for the qualifying examination and/or performance in the relevant entrance examination, which can be on either merit or performance in the relevant entrance examination. The college strictly adheres to the admission policies of the State Government of Rajasthan and that of the affiliated university.

The two main programs currently invited for application in the incoming academic year are B.Ed. and D.El.Ed.  In general, a candidate eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program must be a graduate or hold an equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Government. For the D.El.Ed. program, the candidates usually need to have a certificate of completion from a Board of Education of the 10+2 examination. However, changes might take place from the next session onwards as per Government or University notifications, and the candidates should ensure that they verify the same for their eligible program. 

Application Process

The application process for Shri Mati Chandrawal Gupta Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya, Abu Road, is usually conducted in the following steps:

1. Advertisement: The college advertisements for admission through various media and the college official website.

2. Application Form: The candidate has to obtain, fill out, and submit the application form. The form can either be obtained online or from the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Candidates will submit other necessary documents along with the application form. This may include:

9. Orientation: Admitted students should attend an orientation for an overview of the college and its facilities.

Admission Process on the Basis of Degrees

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): Admission to B.Ed. for the session 2020-21 will be on the basis of merit secured in qualifying examinations and/or admission through a state-level entrance test. It is a full-time two-year course with an intake approved of 200 students. Only those who have a strong academic background along with the teaching skills will be considered according to the standards set and will be given admission to the program.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed. is a full-time two-year program with an intake approved of 50 students. Admission to D.El.Ed. will fully depend on merit in the qualifying examination or rules and regulations laid down by the State Government of Rajasthan. This program aims to prepare tomorrow's professional teachers at the elementary level.
