Shri Rainath Brahmadev Degree College, Salempur, was established in 1987. It is affiliated with Deoria in Uttar Pradesh. The size of the campus is 3 acres. Approved by NCTE, the college has a current enrolment of 1443 students and a faculty strength of 38. The college runs 6 degree programmes comprising 9 courses. The institute provides education to the students with specialisations in education, arts, science, commerce, and different post-graduation fields like Hindi, political science, sociology, and home science.

At the postgraduate level, the college runs courses in MA in Hindi, Political Science, Sociology, and Home Science. The college also offers a diploma course in elementary education (D.El.Ed). The total intake capacity is 1,443.  Intake of an intake of 100 students each has been sanctioned for B.Ed and D.El.Ed.
