24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Psychiatric Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- The minimum educational requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
- The candidate should have undergone a B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.Minimum one year of work experience after course completion of Basic B.Sc. Nursing on or before 15th September.
- The candidates qualifying P. B. B.Sc.(N) from IGNOU through distance education are not eligible for the M.Sc.(N) program if the study centers are not recognized by INC.
- Minimum one year of work experience after course completion of GNM or Post Basic. B.Sc. Nursing or both on or before 15th September.
- Only Female candidates are eligible.
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
- 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
- Candidates with 40 % -50% of lower extremity disability are eligible to apply.
