About Siddhakala Ayurvedic College, Ahmednagar

Siddhakala Ayurvedic College was established in 1991 at Sangamner in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. This affiliated college is dedicated to study and practice of Ayurveda. There are several undergraduate and postgraduate courses undertaken in this institution. The college is approved by CCIM. The campus covers an area of 9 acres, providing an apt environment for learning and research. This college ensures personal attention and quality education with a total student enrolment of 316, with a faculty strength of 53.

The institution aims to provide an all-rounded learning experience to its students and, as such, has provided a wide array of facilities for the proper academic and personal growth of students. The library is an integral part of the institution and is well-stocked with books, which number over 12,000 on Ayurveda, modern medicine, physiotherapy, and hotel management; VCDs; souvenirs; magasines; and journals. Besides, students are availed of well-equipped departmental laboratories in order to learn and research practically. The seminar and events auditorium serves as a stimulus for the academic community. Siddhakala Ayurvedic College has sports facilities with events every year that range from cricket, volleyball, tennis, and athletics to develop the students as a whole. 

Siddhakala Ayurvedic College is running various full-time courses in Ayurveda. The institution offers one Undergraduate course, the B.A.M.S, and seven Postgraduate courses with several specialisations in M.D. Ayurveda. The total approved intake in the institution for all courses is 84 seats, out of which 60 are for B.A.M.S. and 24 for Post Graduate courses. The programmes aim to furnish students with detailed knowledge and practical skills in Ayurvedic medicine, enabling one to build successful careers in the areas of healthcare and research.

The admission procedure of Siddhakala Ayurvedic College is aimed at choosing only meritorious and enthusiastic students for their courses. The Siddhakala Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Sangamner has been approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. It has not been approved by the Ayush Ministry. It is one of the oldest and private Ayurvedic colleges in Maharashtra. It was founded in the year 1992. It is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
