B. Tech Information Technology is an undergraduate engineering course which focuses on expanding and growing in terms of dissemination of knowledge within and outside curriculum and skill development activities. In recent times and the years to come there will be increasing demand of skilled manpower in the domain of Information Technology. Apart from the basic subjects, this course prepares young professionals to acquire essential knowledge about technological skills that allow them to independently conceptualize, design, develop and implement computer applications fulfilling the software demand in the world.
The Department of Information Technology is likewise outfitted with devoted laboratories for Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Apple Lab, and Cyber Security with higher arranged workstations. Silver Oak University is also having one of the most progressive training and placement cells of the region. As a result we have an enormous pool of IT giants like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Byjus, Uber, Vodafone, Paytm, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Capgemini, Zeus Learning, Jaro Education, Toppr, Collabera and so on.
Students are encouraged to participate in learner centric activities and develop innovative mindset through experiential learning by exposing them to training in cognitive skills headed by leading experts.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
