It is a well –known institution that was set up in 1999 in the name of Smriti College of Pharmaceutical Education (SCOPE) is situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This co-educational college recognises programmes in Pharmaceutical education with affiliation to the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). SCOPE, spread in a 1.6 acre is a small but leading institution in the field of pharmacy education. The college currently holds 295 students enroled including 215 males and 84 females meaning that the college conducts its learning in an environment that is fairly sensitive to diversity. Drawing 27 dedicated faculty members, the student per faculty ration at SCOPE is most favourable and this greatly favours adherence to global standards of education delivery.
Smriti College of Pharmaceutical Education is proud of boasting some extra facilities that doubles the student-learning process. The college has a four year undergraduatecourse in Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and the postgraduate course is a two year Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) pharmaceutics. Both these programmes are complete course and full time courses which make prepare students as per the need of the pharma industry with complete insight knowledge and practical knowledge which is required for the good job. There is a limit approved to admit 100 students for B.Pharma, and 12 seat are available for M.Pharma Pharmaceutics which can provide more of a specialised concentration at post graduate level.

The process of admission will be all inclusive, while the selection will be on merit. However, no information is availed regarding its admission process; but it is also known that for the B.Pharma programme admission is based on score card of 10+2 level in relevant subjects and the performance in the entrance test. The Pharmaceutics programme leading to the Award of M.Pharma is in contrast to some of the schools, which has a structured and spelled out GPAT admission process.
