This is a two-year programme leading to a career in teaching at the secondary and higher secondary levels.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed offers 50 seats. The admission process is the same as B.Ed. Admission is done based on the merit of the qualifying examination and/or entrance test as stipulated by the State Government or UT Administration. This program is for preparing teachers for elementary education, with skills and knowledge for teaching at the primary and upper primary levels.
