24 MonthsMaster of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course offered by SNDT Women's University, Mumbai, and approved by the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
a. Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. program should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programs:
(i) B.Ed.
(ii)B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.
(ii) B.El.Ed.
(iii) D.El.Ed.with an Undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each)
b. Pass in CET of Government of Maharashtra (Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per the rules of the State Govt. whichever is applicable).
Admission Details
Admission of the eligible candidates will be given as per the selection procedure laid down by the respective State Government from time to time/SNDT Women’s University. Candidates seeking admission to colleges from the state of Maharashtra need to appear for CET.

The infrastructure of SNDT College, Pune is overall good. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and basic facilities. The library is well-stocked with books, and computer labs are updated with proper internet access. Laboratories are functional and maintained well for practical learning. The campus also has sports facilities and common areas for students. WiFi is available in most areas, though sometimes connectivity can be slow. The hostel is decent with clean rooms and hygienic food, though more variety in the mess could be added. Overall, the infrastructure supports academics and extracurricular activities effectively.
