Sravanthi College of Education, Dharmaram Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Sravanthi College of Education, Dharmaram, has its NCTE recognition and is situated in Warangal, Telangana State. It is solely dedicated to teacher education and offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses.  The admission procedures at Sravanthi College of Education award merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. Admittance were awarded in accordance with government guidelines from the State of Telangana and the affiliated university. An aspiring candidate will need to qualify by passing the Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) for admission into the B.Ed. program in the current respective academic year. The admission procedure generally works in conjunction with the academic calendar of the Telangana State government and the corresponding university aligning with it.

Application Process

1. Qualification: Make sure you are an eligible candidate for the program you want to pursue (B.Ed. or D.Ed.).

2. Entrance Examination: B.Ed.-Take the Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) conducted by the state for B.Ed. D.Ed.-Find out if a particular entrance examination is necessary as per current state policy.

3. Application Submission: Eligible candidates could apply to Sravanthi College of Education after the announcement of results of the entrance exam. Application can be either online or offline depending on the system.

4. Document Submission: Prepare and submit the documents as listed below:

• Completed application form
• Entrance exam score card (ED.CET for B.Ed.)
• Qualifying degree certificate/s and mark sheets
• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets Transfer Certificate
• Valid ID proof
• Recent passport-size photographs

5. Merit List: The college will prepare merit lists by taking into consideration the entrance exam scores and/or marks obtained in the qualifying examination as per the admission policy.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Such candidates would usually be called for a counseling session, seats giving placed based on merit and availability.

7. Fee Payment: Upon allocation of seats, the candidates must pay the requisite fees to secure their admission.

8. Document Verification: Verification of all submitted documents will then be conducted by the institution. Admission is assumed to have been confirmed only after successful verification.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): This full-time program provided by Sravanthi College of Education spans two years, with an intake capacity of 100 seats. Admission is strictly categorically based on performance in the Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET). The course is primarily focused on preparing students as professional teachers and effective educational managers.

Eligibility:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university must have been completed by the candidate.
• ED.CET qualification in the academic year concerned is compulsory.

D.Ed. (Diploma in Education): It is the same pattern in the college for D.Ed., whereas there is no prescribed intake approved for the D.Ed. The merit list for D.Ed. admission is based on marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Admission subject to state government/UT Administration policies.
