Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute of Technology, abbreviated as S.D.M.I.T, began in the year 2007, and is situated in Ujire, Karnataka. At a campus area of Thirty acres, SDMIT provides various UG engineering courses to 1810 students. Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute of Technology provides all levels of undergraduate engineering education and all its 6 programmes are full time. The degree programmes offered by SDMIT are BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and the relatively new course that is Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The total approved intake for all courses which a university can admit is 420 and for computer science and electronics and communication engineering the intake is 120 each.

Dear candidate, SDM College Ujire, Karnataka was established in 1966, and attained its autonomous status in 2007. It offers many courses in undergraduate, post graduate and research level areas. It is NAAC 'A' credited college. Placement record ratings are average for the college, more than 300 students get placed here every year. Placement package differs from 2.5 lacs to 8 lacs peraannum. Many MNU's visit the college and almosf 90-100% students get placed like ICICI Bank, Amazon, TATA groups, etc. Median package is 2.07 lakhs.
