The Sri Lakshmi Ammal Engineering College, generally abbreviated as SLAEC, was established in the year 2001 and is a premier institution located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college has been preparing the future of young engineers for more than twenty years. Located in Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu, SLAEC has an elastic combination of engineering programmes as undergraduate as well as postgraduate degrees. The enrolment includes a total of 452 students, 351 males and 101 females, enabling the college to have a specialised learning atmosphere. Currently, at the postgraduate level, the college offers Masters of Engineering (ME) in Power Electronics and Drive, Computer Science and Engineering and Applied Electronics.
