Sri Lakshmi College of Education; Jayankondam Institution was established in the year 2006 located at Ariyalur of Tamil Nadu is one of the leading educational institutions in teacher training courses. This is a co-educational college; it is a constituent college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Currently located on a 1-acre piece of land, the college only has two degree specialization areas in education. Thus, Sri Lakshmi College of Education has a small number of enrollment and faculty members, There are 271 students in total and 21 faculty members.
