Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital in Bangalore was set up in the year 2004 and is one of the leading institutions offering Ayurvedic education and conducts research. Situated at 10 acres of land of Bangalore, Karnataka, this affiliated college is recognised by the Central Council for Indian Medicines (CCIM). The institute has 11 programmes in 3-degree programmes and it has enrolment of 582 students and it has a faculty of 63. The college is an exclusive Ayurveda college offering diverse programmes including undergraduate BAMS and postgraduate MD courses in different specialties.

It has greatly equipped Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital to meet all the needs of a student in terms of academic and personal needs. The library plays an important role in facilitating the students and is equipped with number of Ayurvedic books and researches. Department-specific well-equipped laboratory facilities are available to offer an enlightening feeling throughout the general Ayurvedic preparation and research. A cafeteria is also used to provide meals for the students in order to ensure that they feed healthy. First aid health centre is available to meet urgent health requirements. The largest programme is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), which admitted 100 students. The college also teaches 10 post graduate courses each affiliated to the university and having 6 seats each in different specialisation of Ayurvedic system of medicine. They are MD in Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, Shalyatantra, Swasthavritta etc. The total student intake for all the courses offered is 582 this shows that the institute is fully equipped in offering quality training to many students in Ayurvedic courses.

Doctor of Medicine in Panchakarma is a Clinical course. Panchakarma literally means five methods of body purification. The course deals with Purification therapies of Ayurveda and provides a basic understanding of the principles of Shodhana and provides methods to prevent diseases and to improve the immunity and to treat a number of diseases.
