    Awesome life inside college

You will not get a chance to say that college is unhygienic and dirty.

I'm a 4th year student, i have seen many students passing from the college with great marks and getting into companies of their choice. Most of the student get placed before they complete their college. I have seem literally 80% of student having a offer letter in their hand before their graduation.

    Best college for connections building

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college provides the best facilities. The campus is well-maintained. Campus spread across 300-acre. our college has one of the best libraries with over 2,00,000 books and well maintained group discussion (GD) rooms with TV monitors in them. A swimming pool, Nirvana park for yoga and fresh air in morning almost separate grounds for each and every game. food served in mess is average. one thing that does not work properly is Wi-Fi, it is average. overall campus is good.

    Academics

Around 90% of faculty members are Ph.D. holders. Many faculty members are from IITs. The semester exams are quite competitive and test our knowledge to the fullest. They conduct sessional, MST and EST in every semester. Semester exams are difficult, you have to study constantly to score a well or high CGPA.

    Placements

Place is good . Every year about 95% students get placements and the average package offered is also nice as it is 6 to 8 lacs per annum. The placement process is not so easy as you have to be good in skills. But yes if you are active then u will surely get placement here

    College Infrastructure

No proper washrooms, the washroom for male snd female were alternate and the faculty usually locked their washrooms. The building was old and dirty. Some classes seemed like store room. It was not so great.

    Academics

Some faculty was good. Some were rude and partially. Some were extremely rude. They has very orthodox mentality when it came to female. Certain comments were very rude and un called for. They just wanted us to copy paste what they gave and not explore more.

    Placements

It was ok, many companies has come but still there was chaos. Partially within campus was seen. The process was not smooth at all. Most of the information was last minute and was super hectic for students who came from diffrent campus.

    Value for Money

For non reason we had to pay book fee and VAC CLASS fee

    Campus Life

It was a very basic campus and most of the people were orthodox. Not a single extra curricular apart from one basketball court for which they didn't allow girls.

    College Infrastructure

Labs outdated so was the infrastructures. The classrooms were outdated back then. Sports was just a myth. In the basketball court, we basically played everything. Cricket, Basketball, events, football and what not

    Academics

Academics with less practical knowledge. Industry connect was missing. We were never able to connect with the industry. How the industry is progressing everyday. The whole point was just to get good marks for the semester.

    Placements

Good number of companies visited but very few core companies. I got 2-3 offers for sales and marketing job role since I had interest for the same.Few people got into core and majorly into IT COMPANIES

    Value for Money

No comments. I think it would have been better if I had joined the main campus

    Campus Life

Was involved in a lot of clubs but college management never priortised then. Campus life is good in main campus and all the major events happen there including placements.

    The good and the bad

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

There was all the necessary equipment available. The campus was not WiFi enabled and we did not have smart boards in classrooms. I don't know about hostel conditions since I did not stay in one. The campus would flood whenever it would rain for a couple of days.

    Academics

I was studying Mechanical engineering and the faculty was pretty good and supportive. The syllabus was a bit outdated and did not include any training for software skills. I had to learn these on my own from short term courses to get myself job ready.

    Placements

They invited a lot of reputed companies and IT giants to come to campus for hiring. So the students had a lot of options available. The highest CTC was 31 LPA in the computer science department and the average was 7 LPA. More than 70% of my batch got placed. The process was smooth.

    Value for Money

I was under the NRI quota and so had to pay a fees of about seven lakhs per year. I think it wasn't really value for money since the Ramapuram campus had bad infrastructure and was not at all well maintained.

    Campus Life

The campus was in the heart of the city and easy to commute to. The buildings and roads wthiin the campus were in bad condition. There were clubs like the Tamil literature club, race car building club and basketball club on campus. Staff are friendly and there is no ragging. I don't think the campus is equipped to handle emergencies.

    Others

I made some good friends there and the staff were very kind to me. The college management did little to invest the fees money into good infrastructure and that dulled the overall experience for me.

    Good

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good! It's unparalleled in its facilities and meticulously designed classrooms. The campus provides students with an ideal atmosphere for academic focus and relaxation. Without a doubt, SRM's learning experience is good.

    Academics

The college's academic programs are truly good. The professors are good in their dedication and knowledge, creating an environment that encourages learning. The curriculum is comprehensive and up-to-date, ensuring students are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for future success. Research opportunities are also available, allowing students to explore their interests and develop their skills beyond the classroom.

    Placements

The college's placement efforts are truly impressive! It's great to see such a high percentage of students securing good job offers even before graduation. I believe that this success is largely because of the dedicated placement cell, which provides valuable support and guidance to students and connects them with top companies.

    Value for Money

This college offers good value for its cost to an extent. The return on investment for education and career prospects is positive, making it a good choice for those looking to enhance their education and career.

    Campus Life

The campus life at SRM is truly amazing! It's incredibly welcoming and encourages a strong sense of community among students. With numerous clubs and events happening all the time, it's easy to get involved and find something that piques your interest. Additionally, the cultural activities provide a fantastic opportunity to learn about different cultures and expand your knowledge.

    Others

Attending college can be an exceptional experience filled with good academics, a welcoming campus, and extensive extracurricular opportunities. It's a place where students can thrive both academically and personally, creating lifelong memories.

Overall it's a good college to join

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

College has a good infrastructure and the classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres, hostels are very vast and we'll maintained. The living spaces are clean and food is very hygenic. The college thus provides a good infrastructure for a student.

    Academics

Academics in ramapuram campus are outstanding and always placed first.Ramapuram campus always gives first preference for studies and then next comes everything. The curriculum is outstanding and the teaching is taught always unique.

    Placements

This campus stands first in placements and the highest package offered this year is 44LPA and the average would be around 4-6LPA.The faculties are always supportive and always welcomes doubts. The placement percentage is about 85-95%

    Value for Money

For my course it costs 300000 per annum and it's worthy joining this campus.Though it's a huge amount the only reason it's worthy is it does have a good placement streak. For mw joining this campus is worthy.

    Campus Life

The campus life supports to survive for everyone. But only thing he/she would do is maintain proper discipline in campus premises as the management is very particular in such type of aspects. And it's always a ragging free campus.

It is a good college to get yourself placed well.

    College Infrastructure

This campus has the labs for required experiments. But most of the PCs in the computer labs are broken to be unusable. The classrooms have adequate space but are not regularly cleaned, they are always dusty

    Academics

Not all teachers are reliable. It is entirely dependent on the level of discipline the student has. The syllabus that they follow for each of the courses that they have to offer is very good. It will cover most of the stuff that is required.

    Placements

It is said that only very few students who study here are not placed. It seems that the majority of the students get placed in good companies with a decent and satisfactory package. The offers that students get is attractive mostly

    Value for Money

The fees seem to be nominal but the college has many conditions and rules that will always try to milk more and more money from the student after he/she gets into the college. They make sure that their pockets stay filled at all times.

    Campus Life

Campus life ultimately depends on the student. It depends on who he/she surrounds themselves with and what kind of company they hang out with. Amenities for sports is nothing for the time being. An indoor badminton court is being constructed.
