Urology technology is a 2 year post graduate course and designed to provide theoretical knowledge and practical experience in performing /assisting in various urological technical procedures like ESWL , Uroflow, Urodynamic studies and interpretation of the same. Additional knowledge of surgical instrument handling, sterilisation methods machine hardware and software maintenance and regular upgradation, has been imparted as a part of course. Skill in assisting in open surgeries, laser operation, flexi scope handling expertise is gained in the end of the course during internship. After completing the course students have the options of working with Urologist in uro center or start their own ESWL,UDE centre.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. in Urology Technology / B.Sc. Nursing
- Minimum 50% aggregate of marks or CGPA of 5.0 in qualifying examination
- Age: Minimum age limit is 21 years on or before 31st December of year of Admission.
